7 months of Madison!

Hard to believe our little beauty is 7 months old already. She is sitting up like a pro and will scoot around in circles on her tummy. She is still not on food due to her difficulties with swallowing. She has tried many different things though. Some of her favorites so far are Popsicles and licking on gram crackers. Weighing just over 15 pounds she is in the 75 percentile for height and weight. Definitely smaller than Weston at this age but pretty close to Gracie's size at 7 months. Such a happy baby! She lights up a room with her beautiful baby blues and sweet gummy grin!

A little Mommy time!

I love that throughout the day I still have my one on one individual time with each one of the kids. Weather it's morning play time with Weston while Madison sleeps or afternoon feedings with Madison while Weston naps. Gracie even gets her Mom time in the evenings when the babies are snoozing and of course the dreaded early mornings. Just thankful I've been able to find a balance and still give them a little of my undivided attention everyday. I know this will get harder as they get older but right now it's just perfect. #blessedmommy

1st of the 2nd grade!

Well Summer vacation has officially come to an end and the long awaited first day of school has arrived!!! I have the happiest little 2nd grader!  She picked out her out her outfit and matching bow! Made sure I had a yummy lunch packed for her, grabbed her cute new backpack and was off.

This is going to be one of my last chances to take her to school because she is REALLY wanting to ride the bus and will hopefully start by the 2nd week of school.

She wasn't shy or nervous! She marched right in! Looking back with the BIGGEST grin at us when she heard Weston say "bye bye sissy". He sure is going to miss having her home to play with!

We stopped by the bakery for a special 1st Day of school special treat. I thought it was quite suiting that she got a monster cupcake, considering she is quite the little monsters herself!

We were greeted with another sweet surprise when we returned home. Our sweet new neighbors left a bag of treats for Gracie in lou if her 1s day of school. Thought it was to cute! Sure do appreciate them thinking of her! Check out the cute note!
It reads : I hope your 1st day back to school wasn't a bust. Ya know not to many Sour spots ans lemonheads in your class. I kw you are going to have a great year because you're not an Airhead. You sucked it up through the 1st day and now you're going to Blow them out of the water with how great you handle the Sweet and Tart moments that are bound to come this school year. Now go get your Nerd on Smarty-pants! You're o-fish-ally done with your 1st day of this school year!

Happily Ever After

We enjoyed a beautiful reception last night for Austin and Ashley Tinsley. The couple recently tied the knot in St. John. We were quite excited to be able to celebrate last night with them and so many other family members. It was a great time. I snapped a quick picture of all the kiddos together before we headed out. This is all of Tim, Derek and Brian's kiddos. I had to included a selfie as well. It's rare my hair and makeup are ever done these days so I made sure I captured it!!!
Congratulations and happily ever after to the newly weds and their beautiful family!

Picture dump from my phone!

Here are a few random but very cute pictures of the kiddos from off my phone. Seems like my phone is always a little more handy for photographing and blogging these days!
There are a few morning pictures, Weston helping with laundry, the many faces of Madison and even Gracie taking a "selfie" at Olive Garden last weekend. The silly sweetness of our life! I love it!

Taking a break!

Tim came home early from work which rarely happens so I decided to take advantage of his baby holding abilities. Madison has been quite crabby today. Of course as soon as Tim took over with her she fell right to sleep. I asked Weston if he wanted to go outside and he took off running to the back door. As soon as the door opened he was gone! He is certainly all boy because the first thing he did when he came out was play in the dirt and went chasing after a bug. Then it was off to the trampoline to bounce some of that energy out! He now likes to do front rolls and bounce on his bottom on the trampoline. It is to funny to watch!
Hard to believe he is already 20 months old! In the last month his vocabulary has just taken off. It seems like he surprises us with a new word daily. He is identifying some toys, people, parts of the body and other objects by name. Aside from Mommy and Daddy he is calling Brittany "Brit-bee" and says Madison and Gracie pretty well. He can say "eat" and "more" very clearly and occasionally you get a "please" and "thank you".
Weston is also my helper around the house. He hands me clean dishes out of the dish washer to put away. Helps load and unload the dryer. Pushes the laundry basket where I ask. Even puts away his toys. Well I am going to take a break from my Mommy bragging to get back to my relaxing play time with Weston!

Weekend away

After a fun weekend away I do believe I will spend my day in the laundry room. It was a great time and the best part of it was getting to spend time with our Kansas City family. We never pass up an opportunity to hang out with Uncle Derek, Aunt Holly, Caleb, Tanner and Lexi May.
We decided to go to a show we had never been to before, The Kirby Magic Show. It was magical! Caleb and Gracie were most impressed with the man who walked through a mirror and all the vanishing tricks. Madison was even chosen to join in on one of the tricks. No disappearing acts for Madison though!
We visited. Ate more than we should have. The kids swam there hearts out. We even did a little back to school shopping. Oh and did I mention how precious it was watching the little ones play together. I do believe Lexi and Madison have many memories to make in there future! Lexi May was quite partial to Uncle Tim as well.
This seems like the ending to our summer and makes me a little sad. Gracie starts 2nd grade next week and Weston may even be attending a mothers day out program. As much as I look forward to the much needed break, I will certainly miss our relaxed routine.

Drawer full of sweetness

We decided to have a weekend away before school starts. We packed up and headed to Branson. A little shopping, couple shows and hopefully relaxing are all on the agenda. Uncle Derek, Aunt Holly and the kids will be joining us as well. Madison got the best accommodations of all this evening!

Cousin Love!

We are hanging out at Grandma's today. Love watching all the kids play together. Sure wish we got to see more of Caleb, but the kiddos sure make up for lost time when he gets to come visit.
