This is how we roll!

Weston was less than thrilled about "Kroger-ing" with Mommy this afternoon. I had to laugh because he grab his bottle and kicked right back like he was at home in his crib. I love when silly moments like this take me by surprise and make me forget about the chaos of my day to day life!

Halloween 2012

Oh ya that is right!  We are raising a couple of super heroes!

My "super-kids" were looking extra smashing this Halloween!
Can't believe we are already celebrating Weston's 1st Halloween.  I think he was more impressed with his pumpkin bucket than anything else!
These 3 are practically pro's at trick or treating by now and were doing a great job of showing Weston the ropes!
Daddy gave us the biggest surprise of all popping through the door as we were about to head out to go trick or treating.  We assumed he wouldn't be able to make it home for the festivities since he is working out of town this week.  So we were all pretty excited to see him!

Now that the buckets are full of treats and the eyes are getting heavy we are calling it a night!  It was another wonderful Halloween!  Hope yours was as Happy as ours! :)

Pumpkin Time!

Its that time of year again!  Time to scoop the pumpkin guts and carve out a face.  Daddy is out of town and Weston was taking a nap so it was just a girls night of pumpkin carving.  Gracie designed the face and I go to carve it out for her.  She gave her pumpkin girlie eye lashes, a mustache and vampire teeth.  Very creative if I do say so myself!

Cheer, Skate and Party!

We headed straight to the skating rink after returning from Papaw's for a Cheer Party to celebrate the end of the season!
Weston was rolling some different wheels for this party, but Daddy did a few laps with Gracie.

We even ran into a few friends from school there!

A new look!

So this is the look I got when I told Mr. Weston "no" this morning. He has some pretty animated facial expressions these days and they are quite comical. Just one of the many new things he has been doing lately!

A good dose of the right medicine

We thought the best medicine for Papaw after his surgery would be the sweet smiling faces of these 2!  I do believe it worked!  Although he wasn't up for playing the Wi with Gracie or bouncing Weston around I think it really brightened his weekend just having the kids around and watching them play.  We even gave Papaw a sneak peek preview of halloween costumes!
The surgery went well and we are wishing him a speedy recovery!

PJ's all day today!

Gracie was quite excited to roll out of bed, jump out of one set of pajamas and into some others! I have no idea what were going to do for tomorrow because it's camouflage day and there is no camo in her wardrobe what so ever!

On a side note I have to brag on this sweet little girl. Last night instead of playing a game before bed like she usually does she offered to help me clean the messy kitchen. So at 8 o'clock last night she broke out the iPod and we jammed to Justin Bieber while we scrubbed and swept away. Love my Sweet, Beautiful and Thoughtful baby girl!

Shhhhhh Sissy!

I caught these two rolling around playing on the floor this afternoon. Looks like Weston wasn't much help cleaning sisters room. It has to be the absolute sweetest sound in the world to hear these two giggling and laughing! I stood out in the hallway and just watched and listened for quite sometime before busting up this wrestling match.

A week of fun memories!

Well we sure made some wonderful memories while Emma and Caleb were here visiting!
It was so nice just getting to spend some one on one time alone with them and see there little personalities.  All bets were off and it was nothing but fun, fun, fun with out Mommy and Daddy around!  I hope I didn't spoil them to much, but if I did I am not sorry!  We laughed, played, acted silly, made messes and best of all shared LOTS and LOTS of loves!
Love these 2 kiddos and hope we can share more time like this in the future!

A day at Papaw's!

These 2 weren't going to spend 10 days with me and not make one trip to Grampa's house so we headed there for a day of fun and visiting.  He was so excited to have the kids there!  Gracie had to miss this trip since she had school, but Weston was up for tagging along.  Sure wish we could have stayed for longer.  Seems like our visits are always to short, but sure glad Grandpa got to love on his grand babies!

Family Days on the Railroad!

Boy did Uncle Tim ever have a BIG surprise for Caleb!  Caleb absolutely loves trains and it just so happened that the Railroad was having its Family Day event while he and Emma were visiting.  You can't imagine his surprise when we pulled into the parking lot and he saw a "real engine".   We even went on a passenger train ride and the kids got to see all kids of cool train equipment and play lots of games!

The day wasn't complete with out a snow cone, funnel cake and a very long nap afterwards!

Here comes the parade!

Well nap time ended a little early today because we had a parade to attend!
This afternoon was the Cabot High School Homecoming parade!  These 2 were quite excited about it!  Caleb was most excited to see all of the marching bands.  Where as Emma took notice to all of the pretty homecoming dresses, "tutu's" as she called them!  Oh and she also pointed out every balloon she saw as well.
It was a lot of fun and thankfully the rain held off until right as the parade was ending!
The very best part was getting to see Gracie and her cheer team marching and cheering in the parade!

A surprise at the park this morning!

While we were taking a stroll at the park this morning we had a BIG RED surprise!  The Fire Department came out to the park for some PT and the kids couldn't have been more excited to see them!
They gave us a tour of the "Big Truck" as Emma called it and even let the kids climb inside and put there hats on!

My sweet,sweet boys!

This is a frequent scene in our house that is always so sweet to see!
Weston loves his "Daddy Time"  in the evenings!
Two bad knees and who knows how many other aches and pains and he would rather be down in the floor playing peek-a-boo with Weston or challenging Gracie at a game of uno than anything else.  I love it!  I love him!
