Dress up time!
I have been working on something fun for Gracie for the past 6 months and I finally gave it to her when she arrived home from Arkansas. A dress up box! It is filled full of shoes, handbags, wigs, crowns, jewlry, costumes and anything else she may need to dress up as she wishes. Well we brought it out tonight and played for hours. She dressed up as a bell-dancer, ballerina, clown, kitty cat, 50's style diner girl and of course a Princess. Mommy even got to try on a wide assortment of wigs! It was so much fun. I can remember when I was little and I loved to dress up in my Mom and sisters clothes and pretend to be them or someone else. After Gracie and I went through all the costumes she came out in one of my old dresses and heels. I asked her "who are you? I don't recognize you." and she replied "I am Mommy!". Then she proceeded to go around the house and told Daddy to help with the dishes, Blake to pick up his room and told our dog to get in the house or she was getting a spanking. It was so funny!
