Trick or Treat!

Well I think all 3 of the kids had a blast trick or treating! It was a busy day. We went trick or treating down town, around our neighborhood and in town to see some friends as well. I was so happy the weather was nice, because I had been so worried after receiving 12.5 inches of snow Thursday night. Ashlynn was an "Angel Fairy, James a "Moto-Cross Driver" and Gracie was a "Vampire". Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Halloween!

We have Haloween Visitors!

Well we have some Halloween visitor and I don't mean of the trick or treating type! Uncle Derek, Aunt Holly and little Tanner have come to visit for awhile. We are so excited to have them and be able to celebrate Tanner's 1st Halloween together! Tanner got his very own Pumpkin carved for him by Mom and Dad and even did a little early trick or treating with us downtown!

Carving Pumpkins!

We had a lot of fun Carving Pumpkins! This was the first year we actually did it with Gracie and she was definitely "hands on". Gracie made a "kitty cat" pumpkin, Mommy made a Vampire Pumpkin and Daddy made a "trick or treat" pumpkin. Daddy soon realized his was going to be a little harder than ours and ended up taking him 2 days to complete. I think Daddy might stick with something a little simpler next year! We even roasted up some pumpkin seeds!

Meeting Baby Tanner

Well we headed to Omaha this weekend to meet up with Uncle Derek, Aunt Holly and meet baby Tanner for the first time! It was a nice relaxing weekend and I think we all really enjoyed just getting away from home for a few days. Weighing just shy of 8 pounds he is still quite a little guy, and just the cutest little thing. Gracie was quite the little "mother hen" and got to do quite a bit of holding a loving on him, as we all did. More pictures of the little man are soon to come, I assure you!

First Snow of the Season!

Well the first snow of the season has definitely arrived! All 17.5 inches of it! I didn't much enjoy having to shovel the driveway, but the kids sure loved it. Tim unfortunately had to watch it all fall from his hospital window. His surgery went well and only had to spend one night in the hospital and is home now recovering well. I think the only humor he is finding out of this whole ordeal is the fact that he doesn't have to shovel all the snow!

James Fall 09'

Well it was James' turn for a few Fall Portraits and I think we had a little success, although he was a little more interested in playing in the lake. He doesn't care to much for Aunt Rachael's camera. Hard to believe he is 4 now, and such a handsome little fella
