Cheer time!!!

The girls are having a great cheer season so far!

Here they are cheering at the car wash, which is the Cabot Youth Cheer Associations one fundraiser of the year.
James and Weston came out to show there support as well!  Weston sure loves him some cheerleaders!

The one and only "Miss Sassy Pants"!!!

Walk in the park

This morning was an especially nice morning walk. I am loving the cooler weather and feeling of Fall all around. Weston favorite part is watching the squirrels run around. He just about jumps out of his stroller with excitement every time a dog comes near.

Until next time . . .

We all just got here and were already saying "goodbyes".  We had a great visit.  As always it went by way to fast and we didn't get to see everyone we wanted to, but are so thankful for the time we did have with some of our Nebraska friends.

Sure hope we get to see Jordan and Jessica again real soon as well!  There lives are just full of surprises here lately and we are so excited for them and look forward to sharing in their happiness with them.  Friends like these two only come a long once in a life time and we refuse to let go of them.  Love you guys!  Miss you like crazy already!

Railfest in North Platte!

Well we got quite the treat while we were visiting North Platte.  We attended Railfest and it was so much fun for the kids and we certainly get to far with out being stopped by so many familiar faces.
Jessica and Jordan also made it in from Omaha and we were all so excited to see them.  As you can see we also were treated to another one of our favorites that we miss from North Platte, Cody Park ICE CREAM!  It is the best!
Some of the guys got together for a charity softball game and it was quite a sight to see!
It benefited "Buddy Ball", which is a wonderful organization that aids children with special needs so they can play ball.
I held my breath every time Tim went up to bat and luckily he was still standing or running after each hit!  Thank goodness!

The girls had fun cheering for there Dads!
It was so great to see some of what I call the "original"guys that played together years ago, playing together again.  They were definitely a little out of practice, but certainly enjoyed every minute of the game and time spent together again.
Jared, Dan, Jordan, Ron, Tim, Kia and Matt
Such a great bunch of guys!

Back to Nebraska and back with friends

Well after 2 years we FINALLY made a trip back to Nebraska and could not be more excited about it!  It was so great to see the look on everyone's face when they saw us and also to see how much some of those sweet faces have changed as well.  Gracie's first request was to stop in and see all the girls at the daycare, especially her Tammi!

Next we were off to visit with lot of friends!

Seems like the kids picked up right where they left off and it was so sweet to see!
Are first day was filled with an afternoon of playing at daycare, visiting her old Pre-school and it wouldn't have been complete with out roasting marshmallows and a sleep over with Jazlynn and Isebella.

Weston sure loved all the attention!

My thoughts as I make this journey in discovering my faith

2 of the most important things in my life are my marriage and my children.  When these 2 things are attacked or hurt, it hurts me in so many ways.  I refuse to let it anger me, but I will speak up and clarify a few things.
#1 is God in our lives, then my marriage and the strength it brings to my family and my children.
I am on my own personal journey to better myself for my God, my husband, my children and MY LIFE!
I have found that the hardest obsticile has been to forgive those so close to our family for passing judgement.  What makes it so hard is because there are certain people that have and always will love, support and guide you through life.  What do you do when they are the very people calling your child names, telling you that you are parenting them in the wrong direction and instead of making your life a little easier in moments of dis-stress they just add to it?  I have had to answer to my daughter why she is not favored like others around her.  That hurts, especially because I know her Daddy and I do our VERY best to make every moment in her life so special.  Then to have someone, who she only wants attention and love from shun her at times.  I can't put into words how much pain it brings me!

Over the past 2 years this is a problem that has been growing in my life and I refuse to let it have a negative effect on my family anymore.
It is one thing to call me names, but I have to say enough is enough when you are name calling a precious child.  It has been swept under the rug and avoided.  It has also been talked about and confronted.  Nothing has changed nor will it.

I say this:

"Judge me not for the parent that YOU see I am NOT, but for every moment I spend loving, adoring and cherishing my family.  May your heart some day not be so consumed with bitterness and unhappiness.  Maybe then you can love, adore and cherish my family as well.  Until then I forgive you and choose to pray each and every day for you. "
God gave my husband and I these precious gifts and we will spend the rest of our lives loving, adoring, cherishing and you better believe PROTECTING them!
God did not make any two people the same.  I understand that and I don't expect anyone to think, feel or see things as I do.  I do expect others to respect the boundaries of my Marriage and Family.

Just a September Sunday

I caught these 2 cuties playing in my bed this morning before getting ready.  This is the best part about the weekends.  Just having the kids crawl up in my bed and giggle and play.  Not to mention all the snuggles and loves Mommy gets as well!

 All ready for church!
Sweet Weston!  He is just worn out from all the fun at church in the mornings all he wants is a bottle and nap when he gets home.
Look at my little monkey holding his bottle with his feet.  I love it!

Fun at the Airshow

Well it was absolutely the best day for an air show!  The weather was great and Brian was home to take James and Ashlynn as well.

The kids were memorized by all the the planes, parachute guys, helicopters, and various other military equipment on display.

James thought the helicopter was AWESOME!

Even Weston enjoyed it until the jets went up!

Gracie's BIG surprise!

We had an extra special surprise for Gracie so we wrapped it up and hoped she loved it!
 Indeed she did!
She has been waiting to find out if she was going to have a new baby brother or sister!
I am proud to announce that Gracie got exactly what she wanted
She is sure going to have her hands full as a BIG sister, running around after a little sister and little brother!
