Few snap shots from Thanksgiving weekend!

We had a lot of fun visiting with the family and I know the kids sure had a blast! We managed to get some black friday shopping in and that was quite the adventure. We also made a little day trip down to Helena to see Gigi and Gracie was quite excited to get the truck loaded up with presents from Gigi and Aunt Dottee. Papaw also joined us for a Thanksgiving celebration at Gramma's house. We are certainly looking forward to being able to spend more time with him at Aunt Christy's for Christmas!

Thanksgiving in Cabot

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Cabot with some very dear friends. We were able to go and see Mommy's best friend Lauren, or as Gracie calls her "Aunt LaLa". I can not put into words how nice it was to see her. I left only wishing we had only had more time to spend together, but we made the most of the day and a half we were there. Did a little shopping, caught up on old times and joined her family for Thanksgiving dinner. Got to see a few other old High School friends Lindsey (Aunt Lizzie) and Sarah. It was a lovely day and we had a wonderful time. Big Thanks to Cheryl, Richard and the Davis/Lindsey/Young family for having us!

Monday Night Football

Gracie and Daddy have a little bit of a ritual on Monday nights, during football season. They veg out on the sofa from dinner till bed time. Gracie even has a few cheers and chants!

An end to a nice week!

Well we were certainly sad to see Uncle Derek, Aunt Holly and Baby Tanner leave. It sure was nice having them here and being able to spend so much time together. It was also fun to have a baby in the house again. Just made me realize even more how big Gracie is getting! We did a lot of talking about all the exciting things coming up. We will all be able to get together for Thanksgiving in Arkansas, then Christmas is right around the corner and of course the wedding in May!

Ashlynn's 3rd Birthday Party!

Little Miss Ashlynn celebrated her 3rd Birthday today! Ashlynn was quite excited about her presents, but even more excited about eating the pink and purple cake and cupcakes that her Daddy had made for her. It was no surprise to her how tasty they were since she had been sneaking bites all day. Then when it came time to light the candles it seemed as if they had just vanished, so she was unable to blow out her candles. She didn't seem to mind seeing as how all she was worried about was eating the cake. Well within an hour the candles were found. In the washing machine! I have a feeling 3 is going to be a little bit more mischievous than 2 was with her!
