Our Big Baseball Player, James

I was so excited to get to see James play tonight.  Seems like we are always missing his games due to Gracie's games and practices.
Sure hope we are able to catch more games this season.
He has turned out to be a great little ball player!

Gracie was having fun playing dress up with Weston, as you can  see!

Weston, Weston and more Weston!

Weston was helping me do laundry today.
He is about the only thing I find appealing about folding laundry!
He just looked to cute not to go camera crazy over.
 So I did!
It was hard to pick so I just posted them all!
Anyone who knows me or I have ever done portraits for knows that I love baby/children's little feet and hands.  So of course I am obsessed with baby shoes as well!
This last one is my favorite.  He is not a thumb sucker, but it sure looks like it here!

3 games into the season

Gracie was excited to have Grandma and Ashlynn cheering her on at this game.  I am not sure if she could hear them over her Daddy though.  The look on his face was truly priceless when she popped that ball.  I am not sure what is a better feeling, seeing her hit the ball or seeing Tim light up with excitement.
As usual Weston was there to cheer sissy on as well!
Weston was happy to have some Daddy time after the game.
He was putting on his tough face here for the camera!

Let's Go Wildcats!

 Game 2 for the Wildcats!
Gracie is continuing to improve and learning so much!
She loves playing with some of her good friends!

I think Weston has to be her biggest fan!
He was flapping his arms and squawking for her in between naps at the game!

A day with Gigi and Aunt Dottee!

We took off early this morning and went to Helena to visit Gigi.  Dottee was also in visiting her as well.  It is always a treat when we get to visit with both of them.  Weston showed off just how sweet of a baby he is just smiling and cooing all day.  Gracie was eager to show Dottee how well she is reading now and I do believe she read most of the children's books Gigi had.
We are looking forward to our trip to this summer with Gigi to Dottee's house!
Just some of the cuteness I captured today!
Love my babies!

A little something from the Science/Social Studies Notebook

I wanted to share something I thought was just to neat!  Gracie's class has a Science/Social Studies notebook that comes home every so often.  The children are to pick out something that fits in a small bag that is Science or Social Studies related.  They then take the notebook and describe the object by writing something about it or drawing a picture.  Gracie has done this several times but I wanted to share two of my favorite entries she has done this year.

The first time the bag came home she was just beside herself with excitement and she knew immediately what she wanted to share with her class about.

She went straight to her beloved bowl of sea shells that she found with Meme in Florida this past October.  It was so precious to watch her draw the picture and re live the memory all over again.

Here she is shelling out at the Beach!

Last week she brought the bag and notebook home probably for the last time this school year and was running low on ideas.  Then she looked up from the table while eating her snack and you could see the light bulb go off again!
She wanted to share the vegetables we have been growing for our garden.  Since the little green house would not fit in her bag we simply took a picture of her with it.  She also drew a picture and wrote about it!

Gracie's first softball game!

Well the Wildcats won there very first game of the season.  Gracie sure did her part by hitting a double and a single.  We were very proud of her!  She is turning out to be a great little ball player and I think this is going to be one of many things she loves to do.
She decided to be number 6 this year since she is six years old!  I love it!

Thats right, I'm 4 months old!

We went in for his 4 month check up and he was as healthy as healthy can be (if you can't tell from the pictures).  He weighs 16 pounds 12 ounces!  That puts this BIG boy in the 85th percentile for height and weight!
Not only is he healthy but my goodness is he ever the happiest baby!  He laughs and giggles at every little thing you say and oh so ticklish!  He started playing with his rattles and toys now that he can really grab a hold of things.  He is also rolling over!  Still just amazes me how much they grow and change so quickly!

He is Risen!

"He is Risen" was proclaimed and heard all the way from Springdale from my sweet nephew, Caleb this morning!  He woke up so excited that Jesus had risen that he called me and told my voicemail all about it.  Such a sweet thing to hear when I got up.

Gracie had lots of fun after church hunting eggs!

Weston figured the bunny thing out as well!

I think this is the "Mom are you kidding me" look!

A good day to hop around!

We spent this Saturday hopping around from one egg hunt to another.  There were so many Easter festivities going on around town we could not choose so we just went to as many as we could squeeze into one day.

The Gracie and her cousin's James and Ashlynn had a lot of fun and found lots of eggs!

Another first of many for Weston!

It is that time of year again, Baseball season!  We couldn't be happier about it either.  We went to our 1st game of the season and Weston's 1st game ever.  This will certainly be the first of many for him.
Of course Gracie's favorite part about the games are the nachos and cotton candy!

What is Red, Juicy and the best ones come from Arkansas?

Strawberries!  There is nothing better than Arkansas Strawberries!

For fun we joined some friends and headed out to a Strawberry patch today and picked some beautiful strawberries.

It was fun.  We sure got some beautiful and most of all delicious strawberries!
