1 day new!

Here she is in all her sweetness!
I am not sure it could get more PRECIOUS than this sweet little face!!!

Gracie could not wait to get out of school so Daddy could bring her to visit!  As much as I am enjoying my stay here alone with Madison at the hospital I sure am missing my other sweet baby, Weston at home.  I don't get to see him for a few days and it is harder than I thought.  Miss my little fella! Big thanks to MeMe and Grandma for helping out with him.

Tim has been taking extra good care of me and keeps bringing me my favorite lemon bars from the fresh market to make up for the not so delightful hospital food.  I keep waking from naps or just periodically looking over at the bassinet in disbelief that Madison is finally here.  Already so in love with her after only a day!

Meet Madison!

A very proud Grandma was Madison's first visitor at the hosptial!  Madison makes #12 for this Grandma!  She was in awh of her beauty and and how much she looked like Gracie.
She looked like an angel sleeping on top of my bed.  I couldn't help but go picture crazy!
Then after much anticipation BIG sister Gracie got to some meet her sweet little sister.

It was love at first sight and it was written all over Gracie's face!

The Arrival of Miss Madison Mackenzie

Words can never describe this moment right here.  Watching Tim's eyes tear up and the most amazing grin come across his face as he sees his newborn child for the first time. Hearing the doctor comment on the full head of hair she has.  Then comes the cry and scream of new life.
Then a nurse holds her sweet tiny little body up over the curtain so I can catch a quick glimpse.  She said "Rachael, she is perfect".  The words every Mother wants to hear accompanied by the wailing newborn screams.
I went in to full all out "Momaratzzi" mode even while still in the operating room snapping pictures of Tim holding our sweet bundle of joy.  It was such a beautiful moment and had to be captured!
After having just Gracie for 6 years I wondered how I would love more than one child equally and I quickly discovered after the birth of Weston and now Madison your heart doubles in size with each child.  Absolutely amazing how the miracle of life effects every part of your own life!
10 little fingers and 10 little toes I counted as they were stamping Madison's feet and bathing her for the first time!
God has blessed us once again with another sweet gift and she came topped with a bow and all!
Thank you for all your prayers, calls, text,  and facebook comments!  We are so truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to welcome our sweet Madison Mackenzie into this world!

Weston is 13 months old!

Yes I am well aware that I am posting pictures of my son stuffing toast in his mouth!  He loves it if you can't tell!  He loves just about everything and anything, except green beans.  He is always so happy and just the sweetest most affectionate boy.
Still not walking, but he crawls around pretty well and is always pulling himself up where ever his baby sister is to try and catch a glimpse or love on her.  His favorite food is pear applesauce, cinnamon toast and will take any kind of cracker you've got.  He is Daddy's little side kick, but when Grandma comes around everyone is chop liver.  This boy loves his Grandma! He has taking a liking to playing with toy cars and balls lately.

13 months and quite the comedian!

This has to be the most handsome boy I know!
 Always smiling and laughing!
Weighs: 22 pounds
Wears size 18 mos. clothes
Will not keep his shoes and socks on for anything!
Loves mashed potatoes and fig newtons cookies
Loves to empty out every drawer and cabinet in the kitchen!

A few tricks, and a lot of laughs!

Found these two at it again!  Doing what they do best, just being cute and goofy!  Gracie was cruising Weston around the house since it is to cold to go out.  She was real sure to show him how to pop wheelies and drift around the corners!  I am sure it won't be long before he doesn't need any help doing these tricks!

Snow, snow, snow!

Aunt Chis, Caleb and Emma drove all the way to our house to come play in the snow!  Late Christmas evening it started to snow, and snow, and snow!  We woke up the next day to about a foot on the ground!  Unfortunately NW Arkansas did not get any.  So Caleb and Emma were more than excited about coming to our house to play in it!  There were snowballs thrown, snow angels made and even a pretty cute snowman stood next our fence.

Weston was feeling a little under the weather and unfortunately had to sit this one out!

Our Merry Little Christmas!

Well Santa stopped at our house!  Gracie and Weston got exactly what they asked for and apparently they weren't to naughty this year!

Weston was a little more into Christmas this year!

Papaw is feeling much better and was able to join us for the Holidays as well!
After emptying stockings and checking out what Santa had left Weston was ready for a milk break, but there was no stopping Gracie.  She is quite a pro at sorting those presents pretty quickly!

It was just precious to watch these 2!
Gracie got lots of fun things! She also really got into giving gifts this year as well and put a lot a thought into it!  So sweet!

Weston was more into the balls hanging on the tree!
All and all we counted our blessings at the end of the day.  We are so very blessed to have each other and make these wonderful memories with our beautiful children and family!  Can't even imagine what next Christmas is going to be like with another little one running around!  Merry Christmas!!!
