Papaw and his cute crew!

We had some of our favorite visitors come spend the night.  Uncle Matt, Aunt Christy, Caleb, Emma and PaPaw.  The King's were finishing up a fun vacation and headed home and we were happy to be there final stop.  Papaw decided to get in on all the fun and came to visit with everyone. It is always nice when we can all get together and even better when we capture it with such a great picture of all the kids.

It was just to much excitement for Madison!

Another summer day . . .

Our day started out slow and sleepy.  With lots of loves and cuddles!
Weston loves crawling in bed with Gracie in the morning and waking her up.  I am not sure how thrilled Gracie is about it, but how could you be upset about waking to a sweet face like this.
We played around the house, went to the library and got geared up for Gracie's ball game tonight!

She played a great game tonight!
She loves being on the pitchers mound almost as much as she love smacking that ball into the outfield.  Ashlynn is also playing on the Pink Panthers with Gracie this year.  It might just be Ashlynn's first year playing but you sure couldn't tell.  She is an excellent ball player!

Sweet Sailor Dress

Gracie modeled another sweet little dress this afternoon that "Stitches By: Laura" was testing.  Every little girl needs a sailor dress in pink!  Perfect to monogram as well.
I don't think Gracie could have modeled it any better!
This is pretty much her "normal" state!

Our growing garden

The garden is coming right along!

The rain washed some of it out soon after we planted it, but there is still plenty left.  The kids have been helping as well.  Gracie helps pull weeds and water.  Weston is more of a supervisor though.  He lends his wagon when its needed.

A little something for Mom!

I was very excited to receive my Mother's Day present in the mail today.  So sweet and exactly what I wanted!  Thank you Gracie, Weston, Madison and Tim!  I love you!

Playtime!

It is so sweet watching Weston try and play with Madison.  He usually does pretty well!
He has been known to be a little to affectionate at times and Madison sure lets him know about it!  I guess she was given a good set of lungs for a reason.
Tears or no tears she is just a  doll!
One thing I have learned lately is that the messy house can wait and sometimes my attention is needed just sitting in the floor, playing, tickling and laughing with the kids.  I would trade these moments for anything!

Look who stopped in to visit!

Look who stopped in to visit us!  Kenny and Cathy were on there way to Texas and decided to stop in to visit.  The kids enjoyed the attention and we sure enjoyed there company.  I think Weston would have packed himself up in Cathy's suitcase if he could.  He was a little attached to say the least!  Its always nice when we have company come to us since we are doing a lot less traveling these days.  We are so lucky to have such thoughtful family!  Happy travels you guys!

Cooking with chef Gracie!

Well I wouldn't say we did a whole lot of cooking today, but we did mix up some homemade play doh.  Gracie pretended like it was a cooking show.  She even had an assistant!
I am determined to keep this little girl busy and entertained this summer.  No TV watching couch potatoes in this house!!! This is much easier said than done, but thanks to pinterest and other Mommy blogs we are finding all kinds of fun activities and craft projects to do.
