To Dottee's house we go!

We have been counting down the days all summer until our trip to Aunt Dottee and Uncle Julian's house in the mountains of North Carolina.  Our first stop along the way was to pick up Gigi before we started our journey.  The drive was absolutely beautiful and the kids both did great!

 

Gracie soaked up all the attention she could, playing lots of games with Aunt Dottee and even helping her out at her book store.  She thought Uncle Julian was quite the comedian/magician! 

I just enjoyed the beautiful scenery.  It was so peaceful right up until Weston let out one of his squawks, and yes this is a recent development!  Oh my this boy has definitely found his voice!

 I do believe I could sit right there every day!

Quick visit!

Well we got a quick visit in with Caleb before he was on his way up to Kansas City to visit with his Dad, Holly and Tanner.  He got to meet Weston and they were instant buddies as soon as they met.  He sure was glad to have another "boy" cousin!  Hope you have a wonderful rest of the summer and enjoy your family time up in Kansas City, Caleb!

A quick check up on Gracie

Gracie's oral surgery went very well.  Thank you everyone for your prayers and especially to those who checked on her and helped us out.  She wasn't exactly the easiest patient at home, but made a quick recovery and has bounced back quickly.  She has a nice swollen lip and her response to that was "Oh my goodness I can't go out in public looking like this".  Love that little girl!

Lilah comes to visit!

Miss Lilah is in visiting from Texas once again and we couldn't be happier to see her.  The girls had a blast last summer and though they weren't able to spend as much time together this summer they were able to squeeze in some fun.  After a fun filled sleep over at MeMe's the girls had a play date at the Fun Factory!  Sad as always to see Lilah leave we look forward to her coming to visit next summer!

James is 7!

 Stopped in over in Blytheville for the day at Aunt Shawn's and celebrated James' Birthday with him.  James closed those little eyes and wished pretty hard this year.  I can only imagine what for!

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!  I sure hope your Birthday wish came true!

Meet Mr. Grayson!

 While we were up around Fayetville we stopped in to visit Ashley and meet little Grayson Wyatt!

 What a handsome and sweet baby he is!  Gracie is obviously already a fan of his and was so excited to see Ashley as well.  So happy for there sweet little family and wish them the best!

Making a splash with the Kings!

 Well we have made yet another stop on our journey and it will be the last before returning home. I always enjoy spending time with my sister and the kiddos are an added bonus as well.  We definitely know how to spend our time together that is for sure.  One word, RELAX and we do it well!  We headed straight to the pool after arriving. 

 Our trip with the King's was completed by our 2nd Annual Crab Boil and Birthday celebration!

Happy, Happy 4th of July!

 This isn't just any 4th of July celebration, it is Weston's 1st!

 We were excited to get to spend it with Uncle Derek, Aunt Holly and Tanner!  We didn't let the hot and dry weather keep us from having a bar-b-q and playing outside with sparklers. 

 Weston was memorized by the fireworks!

 What 4th of July celebration would be complete with out a firework show!

On to our next stop!

 Our next stop took us all the way up to Kansas to visit with Aunt Holly, Uncle Derek and sweet little Tanner!  There was absolutely no time to slow down with these to kiddos as we took off one day to the water park.
