2 Little Cuties!
Christy and I took the kids to campus to get a few snap shots and boy did they have a big time! Caleb was sounding off from the back seat as soon as he caught sight of the Razorback Stadium and the poor little guy was heart broken as we passed by with out stopping to go to a game. It was a little chilly but the kids took full advantage of the time to run out some extra energy.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
A neat little tradition we have started is having a Birthday Celebration for Jesus and this year we wanted to have it in Springdale with Uncle Matt, Aunt Chris and Caleb. Uncle Matt made a yummy cake and icing with a little help from his assistant! Aunt Chris was in charge of icing the cake and Gracie and Caleb were suppose to oversee putting the sprinkles on the cake. I think for every sprinkle that made it on the cake at least half a dozen went in the kids mouth! Of course after the cake was completed Aunt Chris taught both Caleb and Gracie the art of properly finger licking the icing bowl!
Gracie's 1st Pony Ride!
Dress Shopping!!!
I joined Holly and her 2 bridesmaid's at Davids Bridal today for a little dress shopping! We had fun looking and watching Holly try on many different gowns. We didn't find the ONE for her but did pick out the bridesmaid dresses. It was fun and made it that much more real seeing her in all of the beautiful gowns!
Snow fun in KC!
Well we finally made it to Kansas City and boy did they get a lot of snow! Gracie and Caleb were right out in the middle of it too! The made a snow slide out of some stairs that were covered in snow, climbed up drifts "snow mountains" and hiked across a snow covered field! I think Caleb was quite impressed with all the snow since he doesn't see snow like this in Arkansas. It was a lot of fun!
Christmas Morning!
Gracie was quite surprised when she woke up Christmas morning to the sound of Santa's sleigh bells as he was leaving our house! She rushed in the living room to find a Barbie Doll House, all 7 of the Princess Barbie Dolls, a new stroller for her baby, and her stocking stuffed to the brim with all kinds of goodies! She received many other neat presents as well. Mommy and Daddy gave her new dress up clothes, her first camera, barbies, and board games. Uncle Derek gave her a barbie guitar which she hasn't put down yet! Daddy also got a new guitar for Christmas, so they have been jamming out together! The Arensdorf Family came over to eat Christmas dinner with us and the girls were quite excited to help Gracie play with all of her new toys! It has truly been a wonderful Christmas. Now we will just have to wait for this blizzard to let up and we will be off for a some Christmas celebrating in Kansas City with Derek, Holly, Caleb and Tanner. Then we will be headed to Springdale to celebrate with Papaw, Aunt Chris, Uncle Matt and little Caleb!
Goodnight to all, and to all a good night!
Well we have been very busy today around the house. We have been wrapping the last of the presents, preparing for Chistmas lunch tomorrow, and lastly but most importanly baking cookies for Santa. Gracie is just beside her self in anticipation to see what Santa brings. So now that the socking are hung and Gracie and Tim are snuggled in bed I am going to head that way too. Can't wait to see what my socking is filled with as well!
A nice day for a bike ride!
Surprisingly we have had a few nice days of weather. So we have been taking full advantage and taken several bike rides and even made a trip to the park. Sure wish this nice weather would stick around a little longer!
